South Middle School
South Middle School students want to help support our fellow global citizens in having clean water.

South Orangetown Middle School
Every day, one billion people make a three hour journey to gather water! There is a water crisis throughout the world that is creating economic, social, educational and, worst of all, life threatening conditions. We can help change that statistic for our partner school. We have the opportunity to provide a transformational service-learning opportunity for our students through H2O for Life. Our students will study issues surrounding the global water crisis, learn about their partner school and country, and will plan and implement activities that raise funds to help bring water and sanitation to our partner school. We want our students to know that by working together, we can make a difference in the world! We hope that all students in our school will benefit from our partnership with H2O for Life. Students will be challenged to think about their own habits concerning water usage, and will develop awareness of the enormity of the issues surrounding water in our world. We hope our school will be committed to make this project for our partner school a reality.

South St. Paul Secondary School
South St. Paul's 8th Grade Global Studies students have spent much of this year learning about the global issues facing people around the world including the availability of clean safe drinking water. To be able to make a positive contribution to those in need is a very exciting opportunity. We hope that along with raising money for those at Oburin, we may also continue to spread awareness of this important cause that affects so many.

Southwell School - Smiling Suppor...
We recently engaged in a fundraising day to raise funds for charity. We chose H2O for Life and raised money selling homemade cookies around our local neighbourhood.

Springville Junior High School
An important part of the visual arts is communicating important things. This year as part of the curriculum I wanted to incorporate projects that would engage the students into making positive changes in the world with their art work. Right now, the number one thing we could do that would make a huge difference is getting more people access to clean water. Looking to our own world the atmosphere and ocean are warming through the use of fossil fuels, nitrous oxides, deforestation and fertilizers, pollution acidity in our oceans that are releasing sky rocketing amounts green house gases. This climate crises is unprecedented in it’s scale and complexity and I feel compelled to find ways to help. In the last few years our endangered species has tripled and clean water is the number one killer of people and animals. In the next few years half of our animal species will be wiped out.

St. Ambrose on The Hill
The members of student council, the Girls on the Run team and our Confirmandi at St. Ambrose on The Hill team want to bring joy!

STARS Alternative High School
We are a small high school located in cozy Central New York. As part of the global community, we feel the burning desire to help those Earthlings who are in need. This year we're focusing on bringing awareness to (and easing) water issues around the world.

Stateside Elementary
We would like to help those in need. We find it important to pay it forward to make our world a better place for all.

St. Barnabas School WELLness Project
Our school has been fundraising each year to bring clean water to countries in need. We started by raising money for Lifestraw Water filters in 2005. Subsequent years brought the opportunity to raise funds to build solar wells in southern Nigeria for the Ozioma Hope for Wellness Corp (non-profit) and Missionary Teresa Thomas. The Nordonia Hills Rotary Club assisted as well. During the 2020-21 school year, students discovered H20 for Life Schools when trying to get PURR water filters for Ms. Thomas. Students spearheaded a candy sale fundraiser and raised over $2,200. This project has become an annual tradition with over $7600 having been raised since 2017, and students will once again drive a school-wide candy sale to raise funds to support a project of their choice.
