Service Kids in Progress

Access to clean drinking water is often taken for granted in the United States but is a life or death issue for people in some parts of the world. By participating in a Walk for Water through H2O for Life, SKIP aims to raise awareness about this important issue and to raise money to build a well for the students at South Sudan School 4.

Service Warriors

Our club is called the Service Warriors. We are passionate about making a difference in the world around us. We want to be engaged in the world, and one way we do that is to actively be a contributing citizen for a better world. In the words of Mother Teresa, we believe that β€œIt's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.”

Simley High School

Simley High school students and faculty want to be part of finding creative solutions to global issues. We are taking action by thinking globally and acting locally. We have learned about water and global perspectives. A student learning service project to support In 2023, we plan to bring 230 new Home Water Systems to families, each of which will need to be filled on a routine basis. Continued support from H2O for Life for this program will ensure DigDeep will be able to meet the increased demand for water deliveries, which is a critical part of ensuring reliable access to drinking water. On average, it costs approximately $53 to make one water delivery to a household on the Navajo Nation. That means that for every $636 dollars we raise, we will be able to bring clean, running water to another family on the Navajo Nation for an entire year. We are grateful for your consideration of continued support for the water hauling program.to join with other schools to complete this vital project.

Sissonville High School Internati...

We are having our annual Walk for Water and agree this is a great, worthwhile effort for our International Club to undertake!

Sisters4Water

We are artists and activists devoted to changing the world, one potholder at a time. This is our FIFTEENTH year weaving potholders in support of water rights. All of our materials are donated, so every penny we make goes directly to H2O for Life. The potholders are 100% cotton, made from loops from Harrisville Designs, a mill in New Hampshire. Therefore, they are entirely made in the USA! We sell two sizes: 6x6" for $8 each and 8.5x8.5” for $12. This is Ella's fifteenth year weaving potholders and Mabel's tenth! This year we are partnering again with DigDeep for the Navajo Water Project to provide clean, hot and cold running water to homes that don't have access to water or sewer lines in Utah, New Mexico, and Arizona. Thank you for considering a donation. Potholders make great gifts. Custom orders are always welcome! Thank you for your kindness and support.
