Chase Middle School
We want to help others who are not as fortunate as people in the USA. Many people take the things we have for granted and we want our students to see what people in developing countries experience everyday. We want to provide a sustainable service that will improve the lives of others.
Chatfield Senior High School
Chatfield would like to join H20 for Life because we want to help others in need with the water crisis. Members have a passion for Africa and getting out into the world and doing good. We are able to have fresh water and other simple living necessities here and sometimes we may take that for granted. But we want to help the kids in Africa to have the ability to be able to have fresh water so that they will be able to concentrate more on school and their own education, just like we are so lucky to, here in Littleton.
Chelsea Middle School: 6th Grade ELA
Our students read A Long Walk for Water. We knew we wanted to help make a difference for those that walk for water!
Cheltenham High School
The CHS (Cheltenham High School) Key Club wants to participate in H2O For Life to create a happier, safer, and more enjoyable environment for the students at the SHESHO Elementary school. Our goal is not only to raise $1,000 for this school but to give the students a better opportunity to grow and succeed and to show students world-wide how far a helping hand can go and to encourage young adults to get involved in giving back!
Chicago West Side Christian School
Our 5th graders spent a quarter learning about and becoming Water Guardians. They now want to raise money to actively support a school that needs better access to water.
Children's Performing Arts of MN
Every day, one billion people make a three hour journey to gather water! There is a water crisis throughout the world that is creating economic, social, educational and, worst of all, life threatening conditions. We can help change that statistic for our partner school.
CLA 1002 USERVE
This project will be part of a week of service opportunities for first-year students in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Minnesota.
Clarendon Avenue Elementary
Participating in this fundraising project will provide the students of this small town of Mukwonago an opportunity to establish a global connection in a 21st century manner. This is something many of our students might not otherwise experience. The project will show our students in a tangible way how water is a nonrenewable resource. We hope to demonstrate to students that we all need to take responsibility, including themselves, in the conservation of water.
Clarksville High School
Being a part of the Volunteer State, Clarksville High School Students are passionate about supporting others through volunteer and service learning initiatives. This spring Service Learning students and members of our high school chapter of the National Society of High School Scholars have been learning about the Global Water Crisis and the initiatives of H2O for Life and its partners. Our students were surprised to learn that there was a project in need of funds here in the United States in the Navajo Mountains, and they are eager to help. We will be participating in several fundraising initiatives to include hosting a local Walk for Water event to donate to help this project meets its goal. Wish us luck while we spread the word and try to make a positive impact on this project.
