QSI International School of Shekou
We are a group of international students from QSI International School of Shekou in Shenzhen, China, and our goal is to create a safer, better world for children everywhere. We have an incredibly unique team of individuals who want to utilize their talents to make a difference. In the past years we have been involved in many community service activities, but as the opportunity to partner up with H2O For Life has been given to us, we've realized that this is our chance to create a world, more worth living in. Since we all live a life overseas, we have a very special chance to raise awareness of this issue to the largest population in todays world. And additionally to do our duty as international students, and come together to start working towards a solution to water pollution.

Race2Reduce: Lead4Change Challenge
Each year Lead4Change, a nationwide student leadership program, hosts a Challenge encouraging students to make a difference in their local communities. Students work to develop a service project that addresses a local need using skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration. This year, schools in Minnesota participated in and revamped the Race2Reduce program to help develop their projects and ideas. The students collaborated to create a website with guides for different sustainability projects that they had implemented in their own communities. Their goal is to promote the replication of their sustainability projects by sharing all of their guides on the website, which can be accessed by schools and communities across the state and beyond. And the big news?! Their hard work paid off because they won the grand prize of $10,000 for the charity of their choice, H2O for Life! Benjamin Butters, a participating teacher, said, “My goal as a teacher is to empower my students to take action, and the lessons in Lead4Change provided me an excellent structure to achieve this goal.”

Rakiya's Fellowship Project
H2O For Life High School Fellowship Program. I raised some funds through community events and donations!

Ralston High School
Every day, one billion people make a three hour journey to gather water! There is a water crisis throughout the world that is creating economic, social, educational and, worst of all, life threatening conditions. We can help change that statistic for our partner school. We want our students to know that by working together, we can make a difference in the world! We hope that all students in our school will benefit from our partnership with H2O for Life. Students will be challenged to think about their own habits concerning water usage, and will develop awareness of the enormity of the issues surrounding water in our world. We hope our school will be committed to make this project for our partner school a reality.

Ramsey Middle School
From growing up in a first world country and having the privilege of reliable clean, fresh running water in our homes, schools and workplaces; our mission is to share this necessity in communities around the world that do not have the basic human right of clean drinking water.

Ramtown Elementary School
Each year, the Ramtown School, in partnership Ramtown’s PTO and Student Council participate in a school-wide initiative entitled “Make a Difference Day.” This day highlights the importance of philanthropic opportunities for our students and staff. This year, we are seeking to use our Make a Difference Day on Earth Day to generate support and funding for the H2O for Life Project. We continue to strive to create well-rounded global thinkers and citizens. This initiative will promote several important values relative to "paying it forward" and making difference for other adults and children to improve their overall quality of life.

Ranney School
Ranney School has created a global citizens certificate program which encourages student leadership, community service, and education on the 2030 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Our student leaders have decided to educate our school community on H2O for Life and its related UNSDG #6 (Clean Water and Sanitation). We plan to work with our elementary, middle, and upper school students to fundraise for at least one school per year.
