Oneka Elementary School - BOSS Group
The Oneka BOSS (Bears Outstanding Service Superheroes) group is ending our year of service with a fundraiser for H2O for Life. After participating in We Day, our 4th and 5th grade members were inspired to make a difference in our community, our country, and our world.
Osceola High School-Why Wait
Through the school club "Why Wait?", students are encouraged to change the world in the areas they are passionate about. One of the current projects is an event to recognize World Water Day, and the money raised will be donated to this community through H2O for Life.
Otter Lake Elementary School
There is a water crisis throughout the world that is creating economic, social, educational and, worst of all, life threatening conditions. We can help change that statistic for our partner school. We want our students to know that by working together, we can make a difference in the world! We hope that all students in our school will benefit from our partnership with H2O for Life. Students will be challenged to think about their own habits concerning water usage, and will develop awareness of the enormity of the issues surrounding water in our world. We hope our school will be committed to make this project for our partner school a reality.
Pacific Ridge School
The 7th grade class just read A Long Walk To Water in our study of the global and local water problems. We are going to do a local water awareness campaign but the students were so moved by the book that we wanted to get involved even though it is late in the year. I hope we can still help out!
Paige Hebert
Hello, my name is Paige Hebert, and I’m a junior at Stillwater Area High School. I have a passion for environmental advocacy, and as part of my H2O for Life Fellowship, I’m organizing an event celebrating clean water in our global community. The water-themed art exhibit will showcase local artists of all ages and will support sustainable rainwater collection tanks, which will provide clean drinking water to the Kasozi Primary School in Uganda. Earth Day Art Exhibit Details: Saturday, April 22nd, 10 am-4 pm La Vie Est Belle, 3417 Lake Elmo Ave. N, Lake Elmo, MN 55042
Park View Middle School Student G...
Park View has participated in events for H2O for Life since 2014 and through our partnerships, we've been able to help multiple schools in African countries obtain water wells! We hope to keep this tradition alive this year through our annual Walk for Water event each spring. In addition, many students at our school have read A Long Walk to Water by Linda Sue Park. This has brought attention to the water scarcity problem in Africa and is one of the reasons we want to complete this service project.
Passaic County Technical Institute
Through the FBLA organization at PCTI, we would like to give back to the world through fundraising for this important cause.
