Impact Academy at Orchard Lake

Inland Leaders Charter School - 4...

We are a public charter school located in Yucaipa, CA. Our school has a leadership focus and are starting grade level wide service learning projects throughout the entire school for the first time and are so excited to take a more global approach to our service!

Innovation High School - Dr. Raph...

🚀 Innovation High School: Principles of Entrepreneurship's class, led by Dr. Crystal Raphael, is participating in this meaningful, real-world project that demonstrates the power of social entrepreneurship. Our campaign aims to apply entrepreneurial skills to a vital cause: raising $1,000 for clean water access through our global partner, H2O for Life. Our project is designed to teach students a core principle: when you make money, you help others. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): By partnering with H2O for Life, our campaign directly addresses SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation). Students see firsthand how business acumen can drive progress toward critical global goals. Skill Application: Over the course of several weeks, students rotate through essential business functions—including marketing, budgeting, production, and sales tracking. This hands-on experience ensures the fundraising is both purposeful and sustainable, requiring strategic planning for future impact rather than one-time donations. Social Entrepreneurship: Achieving or exceeding our $1,000 goal will allow students to experience the profound power of social entrepreneurship. They will learn that their creativity, planning, and teamwork can translate directly into a measurable global impact, fostering a new generation of business leaders dedicated to positive change. We are participating to give our students a rich, experiential learning opportunity that combines business principles with a commitment to global citizenship and measurable social impact.

Ira Jones Middle School

Through a student led charitable initiative, our school has the opportunity to take action and help make a difference in the global water crisis. The Ira Jones students have the opportunity to “Walk for Water” as an awareness-raising concept and fundraiser. The event will take place during one PE class on either May 15th or 16th, during which students are invited to carry gallon jugs to simulate what many women and children do every day. Our goal is to not only raise awareness to the global water crisis but to help provide a new well for Igunda Primary School.

I.S. 162 The Willoughby

Our 7th graders have begun reading A Long Walk to Water by Linda Sue Park. While reading this novel, we wanted to have the opportunity to directly help a school in need. We have read Nya's struggles so far, and it saddens us that children have to live in these conditions because of a lack of access to clean water. We want to do our small part to help other children in need.

Ishikawa Elementary School

The sixth grade students have joined H2O for Life which is an organization that digs wells and creates clean water sources for villages in Africa as well areas in the U.S., who do not have access to clean water for drinking, cooking, or hygiene. As a service project, we are raising money to fund a well. The six grade will also be completing a 5k walk carrying at least one gallon of water. The students are all reading "A Long Walk to Water" to help understand the water crisis, and what humans have to go through to obtain water. Our goal is to have every student donate at least $1.00. There is a display in the Multipurpose Room where we hope to get enough donations to fill the well with water droplets! We thank you in advance for your support!

Isidore Newman School - Kim Martin

ISLA - International Spanish Lang...

We are a fourth grade class in Minnesota. We are studying water and the distribution and quality of it around the world. We would like to participate to help those around us and make a connection to what we have learned. We want to spread awareness for the water crisis.

Island Lake Elementary 5th Graders

In the last couple weeks, Island Lake 5th graders have been learning about the Global Water Crisis. To help raise awareness and reach out to a community in need students chose to support the South Sudan community. All donations help as we hope to fully fund this project!

Istek Uluğbey High School

İstek Uluğbey Private High School aims to engage, educate, and inspire our students to become global citizens. With this project Uluğbey HS aims to increase awareness regarding the urgency and gravity of the global water crisis amongst our students and all stakeholders including staff & parents. We also wish to make a practical, real life difference to those in need by raising funds via a sponsored Walk4Water to raise funds for a water project in our global partnered school.

Jackson Creek Middle School

We are 8th graders attending Jackson Creek Middle School and it is with great pleasure that we support the Chihikwi Primary School in Tanzania!

Jackson Middle School

As International Baccalaureate students, we recognize that many people in other countries are not as fortunate as we are. Many things we take for granted are a necessity in other parts of the world. We are commitment to our community and we appreciate other cultures which bring new ideas to our life. Through our community project we enhance and polish understanding of other societies and we increase our tolerance and acceptance for others.
