Gaithersburg High School
We understand each day almost a billion people make a three-hour journey to gather water! Gaithersburg High School is concerned about the water crisis school children encounter each and every day. We want to be a part of the solution. Our school is hoping to raise $2,000.00 for a school in need. Every penny raised by our students will be matched by the in-country implementing organization and 100% of what is raised will go directly to our school partner project. We want our students to know that by working together, we can make a difference in the world. We hope all students in our school will benefit from our partnership with H20 for Life. Students will be challenged to think about their own habits concerning water usage, and will develop awareness of the enormity of the issues surround water in our world.

Girl Scout Brownie Troop 60200
We are Girl Scout Brownie Troop 60200, with 18 third graders from Cardinal Joseph Bernardin Catholic School in Orland Hills, Illinois. Our main Girl Scout project this year was taking our "Wonders of Water" Journey, where we learned all about the importance of our earth's freshwater resources. We decided to use a portion of the proceeds from our Girl Scout Cookie Sale to help provide fresh water to school children in another part of the world!

We are Girl Scouts on a mission to make the world a better place. We are working on our Save Water Award and want to share with others what we have learned. Our goal is to educate and inspire other people so that even more people will protect the right of clean water.
