Kabuli Borehole Drilled! Kabuli Primary School is located in a village named Bukwaya, which is in the Iganga district of Uganda. The school has 210 boys and 237 girls, but we anticipate those numbers going up now that they have a source of clean water. On February 12, H2O for Life’s Education Project Manager, Judy Onufer, was invited to be a guest speaker for a class at Simley High School in Inver Grove Heights, MN.  Colleen Parker’s class of 10th and 11th-grade students learned about the global water crisis and the biographies of 6 women in the STEAM fields who have made a difference for communities around the world facing water resource issues.  Judy also engaged the students in some fascinating hands-on science activities that illustrated the dynamics of water surface tension. Destiny Solutions Academy/Kava Mama Primary School is a private day and boarding school located in Kitui County of the Republic of Kenya. Today there are 59 pupils – 28 boys and 31 girls. Little Flower Pre School is located in the Kilolo district of Iringa, Tanzania. The school has a total of 238 students, along with nine teachers and staff members. As with many villages and schools in Iringa, the lack of safe water available to Little Flower School was a major problem. The school would sometimes pay for jugs of water, but they usually could not afford to do so. Mawambala Secondary School is a government school located in Mawambala village in the Kilolo district of Iringa, Tanzania. The school has a total of 507 students, made up of 306 girls and 201 boys, along with 19 teachers and staff members. As with many villages and schools in Iringa, the lack of safe water for Mawambala School was a major problem.
