School: Primero de julio Location: Arenales, Chinacla, La Paz, Honduras Benefited Population: 75 students & 3 teachers Project Review Our implementing partner, Cova, recently installed a school-based water purification system, locally known as a Sistema Combinado (Combined System), to provide safe drinking water for students and staff. This system functions as a compact treatment solution with two key components occurring simultaneously: 1) the reduction of turbidity (removal of suspended particles to improve water clarity), and 2) disinfection to eliminate harmful pathogens.
