Matoska School Dance

Posted by Steve Hall on January 20

Matoska International School’s elementary students recently held a Friday night dance to raise funds for their H2O for Life project. The event was a fun evening filled with music, laughter, and impressive dance moves! It was very well attended and raised over $1,300.

A portion of the proceeds will be used to purchase water bottles for their next fundraiser. Each student will receive a water bottle and will be challenged to fill it with coins and cash. The students plan to search their couch cushions, look under the family car seats, and explore any other possible places to collect donations. These kids understand that every penny truly makes a difference!

Matoska, in White Bear Lake, MN, has been participating in H2O for Life projects since 2011 and has raised over $60,000 for water and sanitation projects around the world. This year, the students are raising funds to support a borehole well project in South Sudan.
