İstek Uluğbey Private High School in Istanbul, Turkey, aims to engage, educate, and inspire their students to become global citizens. The students recently organized a stand at their school, where they raised awareness of the global water crisis among the student body and sold raffle tickets. As a result, three plushies were adopted by students. The day after the stand, they held a Walk 4 Water event at Bostancı Sahil in Istanbul, where the participants walked a total of 9 kilometers. Sponsorship funds from the walk are expected to be collected by the end of this week.
“We raised a total of 10,100 Turkish Liras, which is approximately 223.38 USD, from the Walk 4 Water event!”
