Gate City 7th-Graders

Posted by Steve Hall on June 3

The 7th-grade Humanities Class at Gate City Charter School for the Arts in Merrimack, NH, recently read “A Long Walk to Water” and “Thirst.” The students are thrilled to help support a borehole well for students in South Sudan.

To raise funds, they created water drop keychains to sell, organized an Arts Night and a Bake Sale, and made persuasive posters. Their efforts successfully raised over $400!

“I’m so proud of 7th grade! They did a great job this year.”
