Borehole a Success

Posted by Steve Hall on September 26, 2023
Bulumwaki Primary School is located in the Iganga district of eastern Uganda and currently has 733 students (346 girls & 387 boys). Their typical water source had been a hand-dug well that produced no water during the dry season. This presented major challenges for the school; they urgently needed a deep borehole well to provide them with a permanent source of safe water.

Our implementing partner, Drop in the Bucket, recently drilled a new borehole well that will provide safe water on the school grounds for years to come!  Having this well at school will allow these students to stay healthy and focused on their education.
