Highview Students Recognized for 14 Years of Support

Posted by Mitchell LeGrand on July 2, 2020

Over the next few weeks, we plan to recognize H2O for Life schools that have participated in a service-learning and fundraising project for 10 years or more!

Today, we would like to highlight our friends at Highview Middle School for being with us from the very start of our organization. H2O for Life Founder, Patty Hall, was a teacher at Highview and along with other staff started to raise funds for the first Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Education (WASH) project in 2006. Since then, Highview has raised more than $57,000 for its partner schools around the world.

Check out their impact:

  • Highview has helped build 16 different WASH projects
  • Those projects have been in 8 different countries
  • Those countries are on 3 different continents
  • They have worked with 9 different NGO implementing partners through H2O for Life
  • In their first three years, they raised more than $30,000 for projects!

Thank you Highview for 14 years of hard work and for always striving to be engaged global citizens and for advancing the human rights of others. You have made a huge difference in the lives of students just like you around the globe and continue to help us in our mission of taking action and changing the world!
