Local Boutique Donates $500 to H2O for Life

Posted by Nick Coughlin on October 9, 2018

White Bear Lake, MN (Oct. 9, 2018) — H2O for Life received a $500 donation from GoodThings, a Minnesota-based boutique and gift store, when it asked its community members to vote for two of their favorite local non-profits during the Shop-Give-Local community campaign.

“We’re committed to supporting the organizations that make good things happen in our community,” said GoodThings owner Tyler Conrad. “GoodThings has been a part of downtown White Bear Lake for 45 years, so we’re proud to help give back to the community that’s given so much to us.”

“H2O for Life gives teachers the tools they need to introduce a classroom service learning project that inspires youth to become global citizens,” said Nick Coughlin, director of communications at H2O for Life. “The water crisis is more relevant than ever, not only globally, but locally. GoodThings’s donation will help us engage more schools in the effort to make a positive impact.”

Thanks to GoodThings and those community members who voted for H2O for Life as one of their favorite local non-profits!
