A Letter of Gratitude

Posted by Danielle Kruger on July 10, 2019

There are so many things that we want to thank you for.

First off thank you for showing up each and every day committed to loving, encouraging, and inspiring your students. Thank you for giving up your weeknights to grade, prep, and communicate with parents. Thank you for waking up early to be sure the classroom is organized and the papers are printed. Thank you for choosing to engage your students in impactful learning experiences that not only change their lives but also the lives of students around the world. Thank you for your selflessness and your hard work.

You are an inspiration and because of you, the world has been dramatically changed.

This school year our H2O for Life teachers have inspired over 60,000 students in the United States to be leaders, to empathize with communities around the world, and to create global change.

H2O for Life schools raised approximately $250,000 which will be matched by our implementing partners. That’s $500,000 to provide 73 global WASH (water, sanitation, and hygiene education) projects at schools around the world!

Your hard work, your dedication and your classrooms have made this world a better place and we thank you for that!

As we wrap up the year we hope you enjoy your much deserved rest and relaxation, use the bathroom when you want to, sip a cup of coffee (rather than gulp) and enjoy a long lunch (one that lasts more than 15 minutes)!

We look forward to another year of changing the world with you on our team! As the new year approaches be sure to check out our new projects and our back to school giveaways!

Happy Summer!
