New well sponsored by The Haverford and Agnes Irwin Schools!

Posted by Steve Hall on June 28, 2017

We are pleased to report that Water for South Sudan, Inc. has drilled the well sponsored by The Haverford and Agnes Irwin Schools through H2O for Life. We have now drilled 304 wells since 2005 with a tremendous amount of support from you. We are deeply grateful for the continued support of donors like you which enables our work.

WFSS will continue to provide access to clean water and hygiene education, led by our South Sudan team. Although parts of South Sudan continue to experience unrest, we have been able to continue drilling wells safely. Our work continues to provide grassroots development and sustainability for rural villages and schools. The installation of a new well can also serve as a starting point for conflict resolution between different groups, bringing peace and stability.

Attached please find photos of the well that your donation helped drill. Your well is in the village of Lorutiu, in Apuk South, Wau State. GPS coordinates are N: 08 06 177 E: 028 13 779.

Thank you for your support and generosity, which is now helping to provide fresh, clean water, and a new future, to the people of Lorutiu in South Sudan.

Very truly yours,

Lynn Malooly, Executive Director, US
