Layla Rashid
My name is Layla, and I am a water warrior at my school. I joined because I want to raise awareness and help people who don't have access to clean water. Women and children must travel miles every day just to get water, this stops some girls from going to school. This is happening in quite a few places around the world. This year our club will support SLMB primary school in Sierra Leone, Vodze community basic school in Ghana, and Kathungu primary school in Kenya. We will be doing three main fundraisers to help support these schools, a walk for water, a bake sale, and a fair.
