Micah MikoLevine

Hello there! I'm Micah, I go to Westridge School For Girls and alongside my classmates we are helping to fundraise for clean and accessible water across the globe. Water covers 71% of our planets surface but only 3% is fresh. This small amount of fresh water is unfairly distributed amongst the world which is why we need your help. Our school, with H20 for Life, has 5 projects for this year including 15 water tanks for the Navajo Nation, here in the U.S. and 2 new Borehole Wells for school children in Uganda. At the Obolokome Primary School in Pader, Uganda, children have to walk 2 miles several times a day to have water. This water is unsafe and can cause many water-borne illnesses which can be life-threatening. At least 3-4 million people die from water-borne illnesses every year, not including the many times it's unreported. We plan to raise enough money to build the Obolokome School a Borehole Well with clean water for the schools use. Inadequate access to clean water affects billions of people around the globe, but with your help, we can help make our world a better, safer and brighter place.
