WASH update

Collège Roi Henry Christophe is a primary school in the community of Limonade, Haiti. There are 356 students and teachers who work and learn at this school. Thanks to many generous donors, the Pure Water for the World staff (our implementing partner) was able to provide a much-needed WASH (water, sanitation, and hygiene education) program in this school. To date, we have constructed 6 bathrooms for girls, boys, and teachers, updated the water source for improved quality and quantity of water, and constructed handwashing stations. We are presently installing the filters and providing 4 weeks of hygiene education to the students and teachers. We will also be helping the school establish a hygiene committee. More to follow as we work in the next few weeks to complete this project.
