Lauren Whang

Hello! My name is Lauren Whang and this is my first year in Water Warriors. I wanted to join the Water Warriors club because I want to make an impact to the world by raising money to build water souces. Water Warriors raise funds to build clean water sources for underdeveloped countries. Students, mostly female students, in the underdeveloped countries have to walk miles to get clean water which waste their learning time. With Water Warriors helping build water sources, students can just walk a few yards to recieve clean water, so they do not have to sacrafice valuable time. We, as the members of Water Warriors, will walk around the Rose Bowl, that is three miles, holding a gallon of water to feel how hard it is for young girls to carry gallons of water to survive. In order for us to help these developing countries, please donate to my fundraiser to raise enough money to build wells in Appalachian homes and a borehole well in Uganda's Amoke Primary School.
