Project Complete!
Christ Church Primary School is located in the Acholi sub-region in Gulu, Uganda.
This project is a replacement for Pakele Primary School. Our implementing partner, Drop in the Bucket, was told by the UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) and the Office of the Prime Minister that they needed to move to a different area. This was the first time in Drop’s history that they weren’t in charge of their own projects and had someone telling them where they could and couldn’t work. Drop in the Bucket is hoping to get back and drill the well at Pakele in the near future.

H2O for Life is not a WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) project implementer. We have partnerships with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) implementing WASH in Schools projects around the world. Our NGO partners match funds needed for each school project. We also have a generous donor that provides us with an interest-free loan that, along with matching funds, allows for many projects to be started or possibly even completed before total funds have been raised. In rare situations we reserve the right to reallocate funds to alternate project(s).
