Project

Lukomera Primary School

Uganda 590 beneficiaries Kayunga

Project Complete!

A significant number of children at the school are boarding students, including 50 students with disabilities, posing additional burden and difficulties in providing water for the students.
While the closest water source for the students is a nearby borehole well, the well runs dry about once a week. Additionally, the surrounding community of 800 people also uses the well, so quantity of water is a concern.
This project will include the installation of a rainwater collection system (RCS) on school grounds, 2 hand-washing stations, and community WASH education.
