Project
Pamin-lok oola
Pamin-lok oola, located in the Owoo sub-county of Gulu district in Uganda, has a total enrollment of 460 students.
The entire area lacks access to clean water. Children are forced to walk miles every day to retrieve water, which is often contaminated. They initially find water in local holes, but these frequently dry up at certain times of the year. When that happens, they must walk nearly two miles to a swamp to collect water.
Project Proposal: New Borehole Well
Our implementing partner, Drop in the Bucket, will drill a borehole well providing safe water on the school grounds.

H2O for Life is not a WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) project implementer. We have partnerships with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) implementing WASH in Schools projects around the world. Our NGO partners match funds needed for each school project. We also have a generous donor that provides us with an interest-free loan that, along with matching funds, allows for many projects to be started or possibly even completed before total funds have been raised. In rare situations we reserve the right to reallocate funds to alternate project(s).
