High School Fellowship Program

Many students want to become leaders who change the world, but don’t know where to start. H2O for Life’s High School Fellowship Program teaches students how to lead a service project at their school and become the changemakers of the future. In this program, youth meet monthly with an international cohort of peers to learn from experts who are leading the fight against the global water crisis. Throughout the program, fellows will each lead a fundraising project in their school and/or community to help bring clean water and sanitation to a partner school somewhere around the world. By the end of the program, fellows will have explored careers by hearing from impact speakers, earned service hours, developed leadership skills, and will be recognized by H2O for Life as a Global Changemaker! Applications for the 2026-2027 cohort are due 10/17/26.

Why Join?

1. Make friends across borders during cohort and peer learning groups!
2. Learn about issues in accessing clean water and sanitation, and how you can become a leader who takes action.
3. Earn service hours! Each fellow earns 20+ service hours from attending meetings with their cohort and participating in activities, plus project planning and implementation outside of the meetings.
4. Hear from impact speakers, career professionals who share how they make a difference in the world. This is an excellent opportunity to explore careers that make an impact!

Who Can Join?

Anyone aged 14-18 is welcome to apply. The fellowship is open to international applicants.

Meetings take place on Saturdays at 10:00 am – 12:00 pm U.S. Central Timezone (UTC-6). More than one fellow can apply per school; in fact, we encourage you to apply with friends!
