Procedure:
Part 1: Research
- Brainstorm how life in your community affects how you live. Discuss the local businesses, resources, climate and how these play a role in their lives.
- Choose a country of study.
- Provide a map to locate the following for your community and your partner community.
- Location (latitude, longitude, region, country)
- Physical characteristics (climate, natural resources, rivers, etc.)
Part 2: Comparison
- Gather cultural data. Use the Beyond Our Borders Activity worksheets.
- Write a creative story.
