STEM - Stormwater Pollution

Learning Targets: 
  • I will use knowledge of the water cycle and groundwater pollution to create a brochure or infographic informing my community about the effects of groundwater pollution and how they can take action to prevent it. (SCIENCE)
  • I will create a storm drain stencil using my knowledge of Google Draw (or another technology design platform). (TECHNOLOGY)
  • I will design a filter that would prevent pollutants from entering the storm drain. (ENGINEERING)
  • I will use my knowledge of fractions, decimals, and percentages to gather and analyze statistics by creating a survey for how many people know where storm water goes? (MATH)
