Overview:
The SPLASH! After-School Toolkit introduces students to the importance of water through fun, hands-on investigations and creative challenges. Students explore water science, the water cycle, habitats, engineering, conservation, music, culture, and the global water crisis while developing problem-solving, teamwork, and environmental stewardship skills. 

Learning Objectives
Students will:
  • Explore the unique properties of water.
  • Investigate the water cycle and Earth's water resources.
  • Discover how plants and animals adapt to aquatic habitats.
  • Design engineering solutions for water filtration and water power.
  • Practice water conservation strategies.
  • Understand the global water crisis and ways they can make a difference.
