Overview: This toolkit helps teachers guide students through an H2O for Life service-learning project from start to finish. Students learn about the global water crisis, research a partner community, plan and lead a fundraising campaign, set SMART goals, reflect on their impact, and take meaningful action to support clean water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) projects around the world.


Learning Objectives: 
Students will:
  • Understand the global water crisis and its impact on communities around the world.
  • Explore why access to clean water and sanitation is a human right.
  • Research an H2O for Life partner school or community.
  • Plan and lead a student-driven service-learning project.
  • Set SMART goals, collaborate with peers, and reflect on their impact.
