The Uluğbey High School WALK 4 WATER: 980 USD RAISED!

The Uluğbey High School W4W was held at Moda Sahil, Istanbul, Turkey on the 28 May 2026.
The sponsored walk successfully raised 45,070 TL or 980 USD (at the time of writing) for our partner school in Honduras while fostering community spirit and social responsibility.

Planned and led entirely by students, the event united parents, staff, students and all our stakeholders in a shared cause. The project raised money but also served to raise awareness and an understanding of planet Earth’s water crisis.
Through the leadership of our two H20 Fellows (Aslı Deniz Yüksel & İdil Kurt) the Walk4Water provided an opportunity for our students to support sustainable access to clean water while developing leadership, teamwork, and global awareness.
