River Oak Charter School-Lola Donations for Ebukhayi Primary School

In some parts of the world, children have to walk many miles to get water. A lot of this water is not clean and can be deadly. Over 5 million people die every year from diseases produced by lack of sanitation, unsafe drinking water, and insufficient water for hygiene. Our class decided to make a difference and fundraise for a school in Kenya, Ebukhayi Primary School. We chose Ebukhayi Primary School to donate to because their water source is far away, which makes the students miss a lot of precious learning time and the water from the river is dirty and dangerous to drink. Ebukhayi Primary School was developed by local parents in 1998. The student population grew rapidly due to government funding, and now has a total of 515 students. The projects they are hoping to have funded are hand-washing stations, 6 VIP latrines, and a rainwater catchment tank. You can help us make a difference by making a donation.
