Hard At Work

May 24, 2019
In the past couple of weeks that our group has been working along side H2O for Life we have done many productive fundraising campaigns. We have each individually taken the task of recycling empty water bottles. On May 13th we participated in a class jog-o-thon where all the members of our group walked, jogged, and ran around 100 laps on our school track, one member completing 7 miles. In the same week we met up for a beach clean up in our local Pacific coast. The weather was quite against our plans, yet in the rain our group was able to fill two large trash bags from all the human gunk on the beach. We are in our final days of the school year and we have learned a lot of how much humans take for granted the world that we live in, and how grateful we are for the access of water we have. We are also completing and presenting a Ted talk for our Heritage program to spread awareness about H2O for Life to our fellow classmates.
