As the weather grows colder, our hearts are warmed by gratitude for the impactful work our students are doing. We wanted to share a story of a journey from inspiration to impact that was only made possible because of your support.
At The Haverford School in Pennsylvania, Ms. Gavin’s class is buzzing with the unique energy only a room of second-graders can bring. One of her students, Mason, has a real spark for learning but constantly asks, “Why does this even matter?”
Ms. Gavin is determined to inspire her students to think beyond their world. She introduces her class to H2O for Life and tells them about a school in rural Uganda that lacks clean water. Soon, Mason and his classmates are raising funds, organizing activities, and learning about teamwork. Through H2O for Life, they learn not only about global water issues but also about the power they have to make a difference.
This amazing impact story is only possible because of your support. Thanks to your generosity, we have already raised $100,000 this season, and we are hoping to raise an additional $150,000 by year end. Just $100 provides clean, safe water to 1,250 young people for an entire year!
