About our campaign
Recently in our College Environmental Science class, we have been learning about conserving our water and came across a troubling fact about the lack of clean/safe drinking water in the country of Uganda. We discovered that each individual in Uganda only consumes/uses approximately five gallons of water a day due to the challenge of transportation. We also came across the fact that many girls in Uganda drop out of school at a young age in order to fulfill their rolls of collecting water. Since our class is composed of six females, we find this fact eye opening because we are so privileged to be able to continue our education and have proper resources needed at our fingertips.
