Kentan safaris,
Our entire family enjoyed a whirlwind tour of Kenya’s top nature sites (Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara) which included the big five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo) and many other fascinating birds and animals.
The greatest family experience was staying with our host’s family in a rural village outside of Nairobi. There we saw the impact of H2O for Life on daily lives, both of the school our children’s school adopted and the lives in the community from other H20 for Life activities.
We experienced rural life where meals were prepared using wood and coal, water transported by hand an hour away and food grown walking distance away. For us this was similar to a camping experience. For the village, it’s a daily way of life.
This experience also helped us to greater understand the communities in rural Kenya. We experienced a very tight knit community which readily assisted others in the community.

The kids loved playing with the children in the village and sharing their favorite games from home. The entire village/community enjoyed our children and regularly greeted them with a “Wajjah” or “Jambo”.
Thank you very much for this experience.
Asante Sana,
The Tangren’s
