DIG DEEP!

I can’t dig a well… but I can dig deep.

I can dig deep into my heart, into my soul and into my pocket.

I am willing to dig deep because I am not willing to allow people, especially children, to die because they don’t have access to clean water and a latrine. The action that I take today will help end the plight of nearly one billion people who do not have access to clean, safe water. The action that I take today will help end the plight of over two billion people who do not have access to proper sanitation, who live in a world surrounded by disease and who die from curable, preventable diseases such as diarrhea.

I can dig deep. I can save lives. I can do it today.

I cannot save two billion people but I can prevent the death of one, two, maybe even 100 kids. I just have to dig deep. Two dollars, ten dollars, a hundred dollars—whatever I can do today to dig deep.
