Patty Hall

Patty Hall is Co-founder of H2O for Life. After many trips to Africa, her passion is WATER. In Tanzania, the students named her “Mama Maji.” (Mama Water) H2O for Life allows her to combine her love of education with service- learning global action. Patty enjoys traveling, doing anything outside, reading good books, and most of all, spending time with family and friends. Patty and Steve have been married for 40 years and have 3 children and 5 grandchildren.

Tom McDow

Tom is Founder and, for 37 years, was president of Great American Opportunities, a national, school fundraising company. Since retiring in 2008, Tom has been active as an elder in the Presbyterian Church, a trustee of The Outreach Foundation, and other non-profit organizations, including H2O for Life. Tom and Jane, his bride of 43 years, reside in Nashville, TN.

Amy Mueller

I work for Ramsey County as a therapist/social worker. I work with at risk youth within the communities in St. Paul. I have 3 great guys in my life, my husband Scott and my two sons, Zane and Ty. I have a very active life and am looking forward to working with this amazing organization.

Kate Booth

Kate is a Nurse Practitioner. She currently enjoys her part-time practice with University of St Thomas Health Services. Her practice also includes working in the community with disadvantaged clients experiencing poverty, homelessness, and chemical dependency. As a community volunteer, an avid tennis player, marathoner, adventure traveler, mother of two adult children and a happy wife of 30 plus years, she lives a FULL life in Minnesota.

Jim Schoonover

For the past 14 years Jim has been Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer at MEDTOX Scientific, Inc. Prior to that he was a Divisional Vice President for ASB Meditest, a subsidiary of The Olsten Company. Jim grew up in New York City and graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Government. In 2006, he received a Master of Business Administration from the University of St Thomas, Minneapolis, MN. Jim and Kim have been married for 26 years and have two sons (Kevin and Derek).

Bill Fleming

Bill is an attorney practicing in real estate, estate planning, and corporate law. After graduating from Union College (NY), he spent several years in Colorado before returning to the Twin Cities to attend the University of St. Thomas School of Law. Bill and wife, Jessica, have twin daughters, Lucy and Ella, a son, Jack, a dog, and occasionally a cat. If he had spare time he certainly would enjoy running, skiing, and all sorts of other activities.

Maureen Haq

Maureen is a retired language arts teacher. She received her B.S. degree St. Cloud State University and her M.A. in education from St. Mary’s University. Maureen and Peter have 3 children. Maureen was honored as the Middle School Educator of the Year in 2007. She is an international traveler, and has always integrated global studies into her curriculum. Maureen is an active volunteer for H2O for Life. Her passion for service learning, travel and reading have had a major impact upon her professional career, and her membership on the H20 for Life Board of Directors has given her life new meaning.
