Idea Open – VOTE!

Vote for your favorite Idea Open Finalist!

Earlier this summer, Minnesota Idea Open asked Minnesotans how they would address water issues in their communities.  Minnesotans from across the state submitted 112 great ideas to tackle these tough issues, and the Idea Open judges narrowed them down to three finalists. Starting August 23rd, cast your vote for your favorite finalist!

  1. Are You Thirsty? A two-person performance that uses puppet and mask theater to engage the audience in thinking about their relationship with water.
  2. 2. Minnesota FarmWise.  Recruits experienced farmers who have successfully implemented conservation farming techniques to mentor, educate, and lead other farmers to implement best practices.
  3. 3. Canoe and Kayak Library.  Creates a canoe and kayak library where people in the community can borrow canoes and kayaks to use on Minnesota waters in order to see water quality issues first hand.

Vote on which finalist you’d like to see receive $15,000 to make their idea a reality! You can vote August 23rd to September 5th at the Science Museum, at our booth right across from the Space Needle at the Minnesota State Fair (& receive a free water bottle!), or online at http://www.mnideaopen.org/challenge2.
